Searching on Google also turned up some suggestions that FortiClient cannot be running at the time you try to uninstall it, so I made sure to exit before opening Programs and Features and Apps & features. I thought maybe that was the issue, so I tried logging in to Windows using my administrator credentials instead, but encountered the same problem. I generally log in to my VM (and all of my Windows systems, for that matter) as a standard user, entering my administrator credentials whenever a UAC prompt appears. I've did the action "exclude from management" on EMS first, that it is even possible to change anything related to FortiClient I've tried it with this uninstall command ""FortiClientSetup_6.0.9_圆4.exe" /uninstall /quiet /promptrestart" Unfortunately EMS is not able to uninstall any of these clients, so my last hope is SCCM.
Needless to say that only silent uninstallation of this software is an option, so no manul work should be done, otherwise I know what my job is until my retirement in about 40 years. Right now I'm struggling with uninstalling Forticlient 6.0.9 from 1300 clients.
